This page is for ideas on what content we want to cover. I will also post all suggestions I received from teachers. I have placed groups to put ideas under. There is a separate page labeled groups (see left) where I have put class names and will put tentative names of teachers under them. If you want to just discuss something, have a great idea and are not sure where it goes, vent, etc. then please click on the discussion tab at the top. I am trying to make this as easy as possible for us to plan without actually getting together since I know everyone is busy.
NoviceClass (know absolutely nothing; even turning on the board is a challenge)
How to turn on the board
How to orient the board
How to use the side dashboard (is this what it is actually called?)
How to create a notebook
Gallery
How to use items on the tool bar (shapes, magic pen, pens, eraser, lines, shapes, etc.)
If time permits, go over items from the emerging class--let them work on creating lessons
May need to take time and actually go with some of them to their classroom and walk them thru using THEIR board.
Emerging Class (know what a smartboard is but have never actually used one; have proficient technology skills, easily pick up new information)
Quickly (or as quickly as possible) go over info from novice class
Intermediate Class (have used a Smartboard before, but not quite comfortable; need ideas for further lessons and how to make lessons interactive)
Advanced Intermediate Class (are fairly comfortable using a smartboard, but would like to make lessons more interactive; show some bells and whistles)
